Christ Church is the traditional civic and town centre church for Oldbury, but in recent years it has undergone a renewal to meet the challenges and opportunities of the present day.

Revd. Canon John Barnett is the Priest in Charge. John was born in Sutton Coldfield in 1951, trained at Westcott House, and was curate at St Laurence Northfield, vicar of St Bernard’s Hamstead, then rector of Christ Church Quinton before coming to Oldbury, Langley and Londonderry as priest in charge in 2003.
